Founders Letter: The Push to Restore Public Safety

The California primary election is upon us as voting centers across the county have officially opened making it time to switch gears to the serious issues.

The most important topic of this election season in Southern California?

PUBLIC SAFETY.

Our Cali Mag Political Special Feature focuses on the man who vows to restore law and order in our once great city and county.

Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami has been outspoken since his boss George Gascon took office in 2020, informing the public of the dangers of his directives which has contributed to a
catastrophic rise in crime throughout Los Angeles County and spilling into bordering counties.

Hatami, a 17-year veteran prosecutor best known for the Gabriel Fernandez case and Netflix documentary, reveals his plan to restore law and order, holding criminals accountable and allowing citizens to feel safe again.

I am grateful to have witnessed and participated in Jonathan Hatami’s quest to make public safety a priority again in Los Angeles, and overjoyed to support his candidacy for District Attorney.

Now it’s time for the citizens of Los Angeles to step up – and show up – at the polls.

Our future depends on it.
