Cali Vibes on High

By Cece Woods, Editor in Chief

Ease into the new year in luxe cashmere and high-end sweats by Cali Mag’s favorite Hollywood cult brand Free City.

Art and nature inspired California brand Free City combines all of the elements of the quintessential coastal lifestyle.

Nina Garduno founded the iconic clothing brand in 2001 while working as VP of menswear at Ron Herman/Fred Segal during the height of the luxe Hollywood retailer’s popularity.

Twenty two years later, the Los Angeles based brand is still going strong with with their coveted staple pieces ranging from the most comfortable hand-screened sweats, to uber cool hand-made cashmere sweaters. All locally made and each piece as unique as the person wearing them.
